I’m Fredrik Kridahl, co-founder and Chief Intelligence Officer of Hyper Agency in Stockholm. I work on agentic commerce, AI-driven product discovery and how AI recommendations are measured. I came here from the shop floor, through retail leadership, partnerships and business development.

MY POINT OF VIEW
What I stand for.
Three positions from what I have written and investigated in public, each linked to its source.
01
“It’s relatively easy to check whether a brand appears in an AI answer. The hard part is understanding what shaped the recommendation.”
Visibility is the start of the question. What matters commercially is which sources, product facts and offers led the answer there.
My work started in a JYSK store and continued through district leadership, retail development at 3, a regional role at Clas Ohlson, global partnerships at Actimo and business development at WorkShop. Those chapters gave me the questions I now bring to AI: what the customer is trying to do, which information is missing, who owns the next action and how an improvement can be checked.
Today I focus on agentic commerce, AI-driven product discovery and the measurement of AI recommendations. Hyper Agency is the company. This site is my personal perspective.

The principles behind my work
Good advice should make the next decision clearer. That requires an explicit question, evidence someone else can inspect and a realistic path from observation to implementation.
↗Begin with the buying situation and the commercial decision.
↗Distinguish what we observed from what we think explains it.
↗Make the information useful to the teams who can change it.
↗Keep testing as platforms, products and customer expectations evolve.
03 / About Fredrik

Retail came first: selling in a JYSK store, then carrying that standard across a district, and later developing the store network at 3. That commercial starting point explains the questions Fredrik brings to AI: which product, for which customer, and why that one.

After working closely with Fredrik for more than three years, I have seen his ability to drive, lead and carry through both business and organisational development. Fredrik has a fine combination of strong leadership and a sure feel for, and deep expertise in, retail and the development of retail as a phenomenon. What characterises Fredrik in all of this is his steadiness, humility and commitment in everything he does. Congratulations to anyone who gets to work closely with Fredrik.

LESSON
Lead store sales, then carry the same standard when the responsibility becomes a district.
Role. Store manager and trainer, JYSK, January 2009–September 2012. District manager and international project manager, September 2012–April 2016.
Ran a store and trained new store managers, and sometimes future district managers, at the internal training centre. As district manager he worked on leadership, sales training, staffing, the work environment and follow-up. He took part in developing the city concept for smaller stores in shopping centres and, with a colleague, built an internal sales-technique course.
Commerce starts with how someone in the store actually sells, and with how that practice is taught and followed up.
LESSON
Develop the consumer business and the store operation across functions.
Role. Head of development and retail operations development manager, 3 Sweden, April 2016–March 2020. Member of the consumer-market management team, responsible for store operations and development, including concept, agreements, leases, operations, budget and business plan.
Led cross-functional development projects in the consumer business and the development of store operations.
A store network inside another kind of company still depends on concept, agreements, daily operations and a plan the management team can use.

Fredrik and I have worked together on a number of projects concerning the development of 3’s store chain of about 70 stores.
Fredrik is very easy to work with, and you know that he will always deliver. He often has many balls in the air, but as a counterpart you always feel confident in Fredrik’s deliveries.
Fredrik has a good strategic altitude and often lifts his gaze from the operational work to see how it fits into the overall strategic plan.
In addition, Fredrik has extensive knowledge of retail from a number of sectors, which has been of great use to 3.

Role. Director of Business Development, WorkShop The Consumer Experience Agency, October 2022–March 2026.
Business development and client programmes. Mike Silver’s recommendation describes connecting data with client relationships across time zones.
Client work across markets depends on understanding the client’s situation, connecting it to data and staying with the programme.
Fredrik is a biz dev and client service pro for the digital age. His ability to marry data with superb client relations allows him to craft solutions truly tailored towards his clients needs. His commitment is unwavering across multiple timezones and geography. I learn from him everyday and it’s been an absolute pleasure growing client programs and accounts together!
